For 30 of the 50 years since graduation I worked as an aviation systems analyst
at The MITRE Corporation (a Federally Funded Research and Development Center) in Virginia, traveling all over the world (Europe, Egypt, Singapore, Australia, Hong Kong, Mexico) as an aviation consultant. But, I did serve 3-1/2 years in the Air Force repairing radios, worked at the Schick Safety Razor company, spent 4 years in graduate school, three years at SUNY Buffalo as a professor of Operations Research, 2 years in London as an airline consultant, and am now coming up on my 8th year of retirement. 22 years ago, on a blind date in Helsinki Finland, I met a wonderful young lady from Moscow Russia and married her six months later.
