Like me, Merle was a psychology major with a special interes in physiological psychology. She was always posiive, an excellent collaborator for classroom exercises, and pleasant to work with. Midway in her senior year, she married Gary Orren ('67). There was an informative obituary in the alumni magazine.
Freshman year Merle and I were both in the Modern Dance Club (Group?). I remember what a good dancer Merle was and how very creative she was. She was a pleasure to work and dance with.
